> THE CROSS AS THE EVIDENCE OF FAITH
The Cross stands as the definitive evidence of faith.
Faith is not proven by confession alone,
nor by affiliation, knowledge, or outward expression.
It is proven by participation in the life shaped by the Cross—
a life marked by surrender, obedience, and love that endures cost.
The Cross reveals that true faith is not abstract belief,
but embodied trust in God that persists even when it requires loss.
It is the willingness to uphold truth when it is opposed,
to extend mercy when it is undeserved,
and to remain faithful when it is difficult.
Where faith is real, it takes form.
It becomes visible in action,
concrete in sacrifice,
and consistent in the face of trial.
Conversely, where there is no movement toward the Cross—
no surrender, no cost, no transformation—
faith remains unproven.
Therefore, the Cross is not only the foundation of the Gospel,
but also the standard by which faith is revealed.
It is the evidence that belief has become life.
For the authenticity of faith is not measured by what is claimed,
but by what is carried.
